Arthur Maxwell is the founder, president and chairman of Affordable Interior Systems, Inc., one of the largest business furniture manufacturers in the United States and the recipient of the 2003 Shingo award, often referred to as the Nobel Prize of manufacturing. Maxwell has remained active with the company through its 15 year history.  The Massachusetts based company was founded in 1989; sold to a Fortune 500 company in 1996 and reacquired in 1999.
